Discipline Streaks and Behavioral Stories

Consistency in trading is built day by day. Kaptur includes gamification and short-form visualization tools to keep you motivated and show you your most deeply rooted habits.

1. Daily Discipline Streak

Kaptur rewards your consistency. Every day that you honestly log your trades, complete your qualitative analyses in the app, and respect your playbook rules, your Discipline Streak counter will increase by 1 day.

• The Streak Counter: Shown prominently at the top of the Dashboard using a flame icon with your consecutive days of discipline.
• Earning Streak Days: Days increment whenever you complete your trade audits at the end of your market sessions.

Streak Tiers (Levels)

As you accumulate consecutive days of discipline, your streak will level up (K-tier), changing the color, glow, and animations of the flame on your Dashboard:

• STANDARD: Minimum 1 day. Classic orange flame.
• BRONZE: Minimum 7 days. Green discipline flame.
• SILVER: Minimum 14 days. Electric blue flame.
• GOLD: Minimum 30 days. Bright orange flame with shining effects.
• DIAMOND: Minimum 60 days. Purple flame with continuous glow and unique flame animations for highly disciplined traders. Upon reaching this milestone, you unlock 1 month of Kaptur PRO for free (saved in your Vault) if you had active trading days in at least 45% of the business days during your streak.

2. Streak Freezes

We know there are holidays, days without setups matching your trading plan, or weekends when you shouldn't be trading. To prevent your streak counter from resetting to zero due to inactivity:

• How It Works: You can activate a Streak Freeze on your Dashboard.
• Using the Freeze: The freeze keeps your counter intact for 24 hours without penalizing your inactivity, giving you the freedom to sit out when market conditions are not optimal (which is itself a highly disciplined action).

3. Behavioral Stories

Located in the top bar of the Dashboard as circular story bubbles (similar to Instagram Stories), they teach you key data about your performance in an interactive format:

• Consuming Stories: Tap a story bubble to start the interactive viewer.
• Hidden Patterns: Stories show you visual summaries such as:
  • "Your worst trades cluster on Friday afternoons ( Late Session )."
  • "Your profit factor rises by 45% on Tuesday mornings ( Opening Bell )."
  • "FOMO and Anxiety represent 70% of your losses on short trades (Shorts)."
• Integrated Actions: Stories feature bottom buttons to apply automatic filters directly to your Dashboard (e.g., "Show my FOMO trades"), initiate quick actions like scheduling your backups or ritual reminders, or opening the Social Share Studio to share verified green streaks directly to your social media.
• Ritual Nudge: The system will remind you via a story when you have gone several days without completing your pre-session concentration ritual to help you rebuild the habit.

4. Floating Calculator (Overlay)

The Floating Calculator is an ultra-fast execution tool designed to float on top of any third-party trading application or broker app (like Interactive Brokers, MetaTrader, TradingView, etc.). It allows you to calculate exit prices and profit/loss percentages instantly without looking away from your charts:

• Instant Access:
  • Dashboard Button: Launch the widget directly from the dashboard using the outlined [ Open Floating Calculator ] button.
  • App Shortcuts (Android 7.1+): Press and hold the Kaptur icon on your device's home screen and select "Calculator" to launch the widget instantly without opening the main app.
• Symmetric 3-Way Realtime Calculations:
  • Entry Price ($): Editing the entry price recalculates the projected target exit price based on the current percentage.
  • Percentage (%): Edit the percentage directly in the central input field, or tap/hold the - and + steppers to modify the value by quick 0.5% steps. Holding down the steppers increments or decrements the value continuously with active tactile haptic vibration.
  • Final Value ($): Enter your target exit price directly in the final value field in the bottom section. Kaptur will instantly compute the exact profit or loss percentage relative to your entry price.
• Micro-HUD (Pill View):
  • Tap the collapse button [-] to transform the calculator into a translucent horizontal pill to minimize screen footprint.
  • Displays $Entry | Pct% ➔ $Exit at a glance. The percentage text color shifts dynamically to green for profits and red for losses.
  • Includes a Quick Copy (📋) button to copy the target exit price to your clipboard accompanied by a green feedback flash and haptic vibration.
• Drag controls: Drag the active calculator window or collapsed pill to any screen boundary by holding and moving from any empty background area.
