Share Results
Sharing your successes and lessons learned with other traders on social media is a great way to stay committed. However, it is not always safe or desirable to display your exact capital on the internet. Kaptur includes the Social Share Studio to solve this.
1. Accessing the Social Share Studio
You can access the Social Share Studio in two ways:
- From the Journal: In the transaction list (Daily or Weekly view), if a period (day or week) closes with accumulated net profits above $0, a share icon will appear next to the net PnL in its sticky header. Tap it to load that period's summary.
- From the Transaction Detail: Open any individual trade, tap the Share button or select the share icon in the header.
IMPORTANT
Integrity and Verification: To maintain the authenticity of shared results, any trade or daily/weekly summary containing manually edited or manually created transactions cannot be shared. The share option will be automatically hidden in the interface if any involved transaction is detected to have been manually modified.
2. Selecting Minimalist Premium Templates
The studio offers different design layouts optimized for Twitter/X, Instagram, or Telegram:
- EOD Snapshot: Designed specifically to celebrate profitable trading days or weeks. Shows the period's Net PnL, win rate percentage (Win Rate %), number of trades, your current K-Tier, and your main driver assets (Top Drivers).
- Minimalist: A clean, modern view displaying the ROI percentage, ticker, trade direction, and whether you complied with your playbook.
- Sniper Entry: Highlights your exact entry and exit prices on a stylized dark background, perfect for showing clean executions.
- Risk Reward (R:R): Shows the risk-to-reward ratio achieved in the trade (e.g.,
3.2R).
Social Streak Materials (K-Tier Materials)
The background card and visual borders of the shareable templates change dynamically and level up (K-Tier) based on your consecutive winning days (profitStreakDays), letting you proudly showcase your consistency to your community:
- OBSIDIAN: Default starting material.
- Level 1: 3 to 5 days
- Level 2: 6 to 9 days
- Level 3: 10 to 14 days
- TITANIUM: Unlocked from 15 to 29 winning days. Levels up every 5 days.
- RHODIUM: Unlocked from 30 to 59 winning days. Levels up every 10 days.
- GRAPHENE: Unlocked at 60+ winning days. Infinite dynamic tier that levels up every 10 days for legendary traders.
3. Hiding Sensitive Information and Sharing
You can configure the visual card before sharing to protect your account:
- Hide Net Capital: Toggle the switch to hide exact monetary figures in dollars or your base currency, showing only return percentages (ROI %) or price distance.
- Hide Commissions: Choose whether to omit transaction costs and broker commissions from the final graphic.
- Export and Share: Tap Share at the bottom to download the image card directly to your gallery or open the system menu to send it directly to your preferred social networks.
4. Cryptographic Verification of EOD Snapshots
To combat fake screenshots and social media trading scams, Kaptur implements an impenetrable cryptographic security layer on the EOD Snapshot (Green Day) templates:
- Verification of Authenticity: Anyone viewing your shared image can verify its authenticity. The data displayed on the card (Date, Net Profit, Win Rate, and the Verification Hash Code) can be entered into our real-time verification tool at kapturtracker.com/verify.html.
- Edge Validation: The verification process runs instantly in milliseconds using Cloudflare Workers at the network edge, ensuring real-time authentication and protection against tampered images.
